⭕ Who is eligible to apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship?

1) For secondary and higher secondary examinations, students need to have at least 60% marks. For undergraduate studies, the requirement is also 60%, and for postgraduate studies, it is 53%. If you have pursued polytechnic studies, you need a minimum of 60% marks.

2) The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

3) The annual family income of the applicant should be less than or equal to 1.5 lakh rupees.

4) Students who are already receiving any other government or private scholarships or have applied for them are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

⭕ What is the amount of the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship?

1) For higher secondary studies, a monthly stipend of 1,000 rupees will be provided, which amounts to 12,000 rupees per year.

2) For undergraduate studies, the monthly stipend will range from 1,000 to 5,000 rupees, totaling at least 12,000 rupees per year.

3) For postgraduate studies, a monthly stipend ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 rupees will be provided.

4) If you are pursuing polytechnic studies, a stipend of 1,500 rupees per month will be provided.

The application for this scholarship can only be done online. Offline applications are not accepted. You can apply through the official website https://svmcm.wbhed.gov.in/

During the registration process, you need to select the scholarship category based on your current course.

After visiting the website, click on "Registration." Fill out the registration form and provide your correct email address and phone number. You will be assigned a unique ID number and password.
